My name is Heather, I'm just new to this list. Orginally from Newcastle upon Tyne, but now living in Malaysia.
I'm researching my father's side of the family which is Ewart, I'm particularly interested in William Ewart b 1867 in Eskdalemuir, he married Janet Maxwell in 1890, I have the wedding cert. His parents were Robert Ewart & Mary Mcvittie, Janet's parents, Thomas Maxwell & Jane Graham. Very little eles knwn about these two after their marriage.I think maybe they moved to Yorkshire, some info gives me a William & Janet Ewart living at 9 Thornfield, Saville Town, Dewsbury. How can I find out if this was definatly them.? I can find out no other information on them at all. The LDS site has nothing.
I'm hoping someone out there recognizes this family. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
