I am searching for my grandmother, Lucy Hannah Rylatt who was born in
the Sculcoates area of Hull & who would be abt 5yrs old on the 1891
census.I have no idea of the christian names of her parents but her
mother was a Bates before her marriage.Lucy had twelve children & lived
to be 93 yrs,two of her daughters reached 90 and 91 yrs and I think
there are two of her sons heading towards the 90's still alive & living
in the West Riding.I can move forward but I would like to know more of
her background.She married a Thomas Edward Fisher-Gas Stoker and at the
time of my mother's birth in 1903,they were living at 4 Coupland
Terrace,Sculcoates Lane.
I lived in Hull just after the end of the war and later taught at
Maybury Rd,Lambert St,and the Wansbeck Junior schools.It is now when I
have G/children born in New Zealand that I regret not asking questions
when I was younger.
Any help would be appreciated re the Chrstian names of her parents and
if possible the address where she was born-I have a Thomas Edward Fisher
who MAY be my grandfather.
