Hi everyone,

I don't know if many of you have seen Roy Stockdill "Newbies' Guide to
Genealogy & Family History" which has gained a great deal of attention on
the Yorkshire lists. This very interesting and excellent document holds much
information relevant to anyone new to this hobby as well as some good
pointers for the more experienced person. Some parts of it are principally
relevant only to a Yorkshire list but is still well worth a read. I have
obtained a copy of this document from Roy and he has kindly given me his
permission for it to be added to our web site, which I hope to do this
weekend.
