I am looking for any descendants of William PICKEN (a grocer) and Maude Mary
McKENZIE who married at Newcastle Registry Office on 16 April 1892. Their
address at the time of marriage was 2 Rock Terrace, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Maude had one child in January 1885, Sidney McKENZIE from whom I am
descended.

Maude was born 1866 in Gateshead and lived with her parents, William Losh
McKENZIE and Ellen (nee ELLIOTT) and siblings, Isabella, George William,
Helen Fannie, Lillian, and Francis Alice, at 1 Barrington Place Gateshead in
the 1870s. In 1881 the family were at Banett Street, Merrington Lane, Kirk
Merrington, Co Durham but Maude was at 10 Ryton Street, Gateshead in 1885
and then Newcastle in 1892.

William PICKEN was born in Hartlepool in 1864, the son of a William PICKEN
(a customs officer, born 1834 in Hungarton, Leicester) ) and Hannah??. Her
siblings were Annie (born 1866) and Mary (born 1870) all born in Hartlepool.
On the 1881 census the PICKEN family were living in Cardiff St Mary's
Glamorgan.
