The place is Annitsford, which still exists and these days is classed as a
part of Dudley (Northumberland)
It couldn't have been much more than 1/2 a mile square in 1871. Weetslade is
nearby and is even smaller, that too being part of Dudley, so you should not
have too much bother in your search.
