Hi All
I am tryng to track down a MARY ELIZABETH BRACE. b. 19th September 1887 in Monkwearmouth, Sunderland. Her parents were HENRY BRACE and ELIZABETH (late DIXON, formerly HAWKE). Her father worked as a coal miner. Does anyone know which would have been the closest pits at the time to this area? I would also like to find the family in the 1891 census if anyone has this to hand. I thing Mary went on to marry a GEORGE HARWOOD in Sunderland around 1905/06 but I have yet to get proof of this.
Any help would be apperciated
