20, Aug. 1847, he married #3 Lucy Dix, 01,June 1876. James B. is James Baker
twin to John Baker Pace b. 16, Aug.1808 and died 31, Jan. 1889. James Baker
b. 16, Aug. 1808 and died 27, June 1862, was in battle, Richmond, Henrico
Co. Va. Conf. military service. Twin to John Baker Pace. married #1 Caroline
Butler, ca 1828. children: Charles Alexander Pace born aft. 1829. married #2
Lucy Taylor ca. 1847. Several cities in Virginia are not part of surrounding
county, Richmond is one of those cities. John Pace (will ex 12, Apr.1822.
pr. 12 Sept.1825, Henry County Va. b. May 28. 1751 in Amelia County Va. died
20 Aug. 1825, in Henry Co. Va. Was large land owner with large land
holdings. was Capt in Mlitia and believe that both his father, William (d.
1799) and mother Susanna West Pace are buried on what use to be his
plantation. John married Eliza. Nunn 10, Sep. 1772. Both James Baker and
Greenvile were children of common law wife Polly Baker Stone, she filed for
devorce but judge refused to grant. John named his and her children in his
will. Copy has been published in PSA Bulletin. Most of the children of John
and Eliza. migrated to Kentucky whereas the children of John and Polly
mostly stayed in Va. and much of those families still live in the southern
part of Virginia. Greenville, is buried in the old Danville Virginia
Cemetery. I have not been there but have read that a large statule marks the
grave. This is old info therefore I do not know todays condition. Happy
