There is much interesting matter scattered around
on this family. New info from Ontario has just been
discovered so I've been gathering it up and
putting together on a web page with notes,
so the history of this PACE group can be understood
and make more sence for the descendents.

I live in the same area of Ontario,
Counties of Northumberland, Hastings & Prince Edward
all come together at Carrying Place, about 8 miles
from the CARRYING PLACE cemetery which was a center for
United Empire Loyalists coming to Upper Canada from the US.

This area is directly north of Rochester NY.
INDIANS portaged canoes between Lake Ontario
and the Bay of QUINTE on their way from OSWEGO NY

This also became a trade route and UEL folk
also used the route.

It appears Bob Pace of Lucerne Co. PA
might be connected to this PACE clan.
