The following John Paces were Christened

-----------------
The first record we have on John is that he patented land in 1693.
There is
absolutely nothing but guesswork before that.
Roy Johnson
-------------
...perhaps John was a son of Joseph of Wrockwardine, or perhaps he
was a nephew - the son of a brother of Joseph. Keep in mind that I am
just speculating here.
Charlie Hartley
---------------
As you know your DNA study results show that your George
was very closely related to John Pace of Middlesex.
This John appears to be the one who was baptised in Hungar's Parish, VA
in 1662,
son of a John Pace and Mary. Nothing is known about this older John
but the DNA results imply that he must have come from Shropshire.
Perhaps he was an older brother of Joseph.
Is anything known about this Joseph?
Gordon W. Pace
-----------------
I've seen the year 1667 given as the year of John's birth, but I'm
not aware of how this date has been obtained. I've looked at my
resources and find nothing that supports that date, or any date for
that matter.
Charlie Hartley
---------------
First, John of Middlesex had to be at least 21
(if I understand the law properly) to patent the land in 1693;
also,
several knowledgable genealogists have suggested
that the land was probably already in production before that date,
so add a few years.
I don't totally understand Oregon Gordon's response about John of
Hungar's Parish;
since we don't have a descent line on John of Hungar's Parish,
how can DNA results imply anything about him?
But he is a possible prospect; baptised in 1662 he would have been 31 in
1693,
entirely possible. He clearly COULD have been one of the Shropshire
Paces,
but again this is pure speculation.

>From the above,
it seems we may be looking for a John Pace, parent of John Pace
who was at least 21 in 1693, and likely born in the 1660s,
maybe Virginia but maybe in the UK
and a parent likely born of the Shropshire Paces, likely from the list
of John's above.
At this point
Is it known, for sure, that John Pace of Middlesex's father was also a
John?
was that based on the fact that a John Pace
was baptised in Hungar's Parish, VA in 1662 son of a John Pace and Mary
If so,
The parent John may have been born in the 1640s era
and be one of the Shropshire John Paces in the list above.
That would erase him from the John who was in the Wrockwardine PR
and a likely brother of Joseph of Wrockwardine Wellington Rodington PRs
That John was still having children in Shropshire
as late as 7 Oct 1681 at Wellington Shropshire
...his wide was a JONE PACE
In the 1720 will of John Pace of Middlesex that Carles Hartley recently
made aware at -
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~gensoup/pacewill/index.html
it also shows a Jonane PACE as a daughter of John of Middlesex.
there were also a Margrett PACE, Joseph PACE, John PACE
and
Gordon W. Pace mentioned to me that -
Ruth Keyes Clark has proven that John Pace of Middlesex
had to have been born between 1657 and 1672,
consistent with the 1662 Christening.
Child by 1st wife Mary: John Pace b. abt. 1685 to 1692.
Children by 2nd wife, Elizabeth Newsome:

Newsome b. 2/6/1707/08
William b. 3/25/1711
George b. 1/15/1713/14
Several of these Christian names fall within the choices
found in the Shropshire Pace families

as an example, as early as 1589
