I've been reading with interest some of the postings on this web site, and
decided to give it a try myself.
I am looking for information on McConnell family. The information I have is
from Rev. Kennaway of the Presbyterian church in Crumlin, Antrim County,
Ireland.
My ggrandfather: John McConnell of Thistleborough
d 23 June 1878
his wife: Margaret d 6th Jan 1893
Their children: John Jr. b 1834
d 11th July 1918
his wife: Mary Jane d 6th Oct 1888 b 1834
Malcolm (also known as Mickey) b 1830
d 10 Jan 1923
Isabella (also known as Bella)
d 19 Mar 1923 b 1842
Robert b 28 Oct 1845 in Crumlin, Antrim County
m Mary Jane Carson 29 April 1874 in Carrollton,
IL.
d 15 Dec 1930 in Denver, CO.
Langford (supposedly he moved to Dunedin, New
Zealand)
There is supostion that John Sr. was cousins to the McConnell's of
Cherryvally with little communication between them, but that hasn't been
proven.
Any and all help would be really appreciated.
